The VIRTUAL WORLDS EDUCATION ROUNDTABLE is holding a special Moderator’s Meeting 12:00pm SLT (3:00pm ET / 8:00pm UK time) on Tuesday August 14th in the BGSU – community area http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/BGSU%20Community/54/85/25 This meeting will take place in our Roundtable Amphitheater.

This is not optional. And it is not difficult. Being a moderator can be fun and its pretty easy. This session will discuss, from the perspective of our current moderators, what it means, and what it takes, to be a VWER Moderator.

You do not need to commit to being a moderator to come to the meeting. You just need a serious interest. If you come and like what you hear, there is a mentorship model in place. If its not for you, at the very least you understand a bit better how our meetings work.

None of us thought we’d be good at this when we first started doing it. But we all are committed to the educational community and making sure the VWER remains a vital and important asset for all.
