Group Meeting

Transcript of the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable December 27, 2012

Topic: Open Forum

Photo (and an old stock one at that!) by Iggy. Join our VWER groups at Flickr and Koinup to add your own pictures!

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Hello everyone and welcome to the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable! Our topic today is an Open Forum

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: This is a public meeting in TEXT CHAT, so we will be keeping and publishing a transcript of what is said. If you’ve not seen our transcripts, you should check them out – they are an excellent information asset.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I’m Joe Essid, Writing Center Director at the University of Richmond. Last year I used an immersive literary build based on Poe’s “Fall of the House of Usher” in Jokaydia Grid with my literature students. You’ll find a version in SL too,

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Thanks to the goodwill of Kali Pizzaro and Glasgow Caledonian University, I’ll use that build next semester for a first-year class!

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: A bit about this group, if you are new to VWER:

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: The VWER meets each Thursday at 11:30am SLT for an hour and is a forum to educate and inform the community about issues that are important and relevant to education.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Our group has met every week for over four years and we get a wide variety of educators, from seasoned veterans to the newly rezzed.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: The transcripts can be found at our newly updated web site – http://www.vwer.org

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Please join the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable group here in SL. If you are on Facebook, please join our group there – Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: You can also find and post pictures to our Flickr and Koinup groups and follow us on Twitter @VWER. When you blog or tweet, please remember to include the tag #vwer

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Now, let’s begin as we always do, and introduce ourselves.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: [ you have reached the end of the current notecard - resetting to first line... ]

Claudia13 Rossini: Claudia – builder

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Chris Robinson, Georgia Gwinnett College, metro Atlanta

Birdie Newcomb: Birdie Newborn, newborn entrepreneur

David Stack (richmedia): Hello. David Stack, Deputy CIO, UW-Milwaukee

Shailey Garfield: Shailey Minocha, The Open University, UK academic and researcher

hobbs Constantine: Heather Dodds, Program Manager, Natural Science General Education, Western Governors University, also doctoral learner at Capella University

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): thank you all!

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): So today we can discuss any topic related to virtual worlds that interests you

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): but first a quick reminder:

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): We’ll be making some changes in VWER in 2013, so watch the Facebook group or the Web site vwer.org for more details

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): we’ll be into our sixth year together soon

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): now for today…

Birdie Newcomb: we’re graduating to secondary school?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Hi Piona and welcome

Claudia13 Rossini: lol

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): LOL Birdie we are!

Pionia Destiny: smiles and sits quietly..

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): One bit of virtual worlds news that is interesting

Claudia13 Rossini: (i remember, abiet vaguely, doing secondary school already)

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): you may recall Cloud Party, the new browser based 3d world from SL co-founder Cory Ondrejka?

Shailey Garfield: yes

Claudia13 Rossini: lord yes

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): yes

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): They have just added non-Facebook login options

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Flying

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Wow!

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): new avatar choices

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): and islands that can connect to make continuous land

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): interesting

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): in other words, a real world with some affordances SL cannot match

Claudia13 Rossini: let me know when i can customize my av to look like me

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): but harder to use building tools :(

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): I haven’t tried to build there since they opened, but I hated their building functions then

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I think you can soon, Claudia. They have a virtual marketplace and currency too now

Birdie Newcomb: is that one of the mac-unfriendly sites?

Claudia13 Rossini: and not to be overly snarky, why would i want to visit a world with bad building tools?

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): No, it’s browser-based

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Works fine with Macs, Birdie

David Stack (richmedia): that’s good!

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): That’s the new on CP for now. Anyone know any educators using it?

Birdie Newcomb: OK, I’ll try it.

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): One of our profs told me he’s thinking about using Blue Mars instead of SL for his class

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): We’ll see how well it runs on Satellite based Internet and wireless soon for me

hobbs Constantine: hobbs is stuck on Claudia looking like Claudia? But anyways, I’ve been there, took a free house, nothing more

Shailey Garfield: why did he choose Blue Mars, Griz?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @Grizzla, is Blue Mars still around as more than a mobile app?

hobbs Constantine: I’m on a Mac so it worked for me

David Stack (richmedia): Just tried to access CP with Mac Safari, but it isn’t supported. Requires Firefox or Chrome

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Blue Mars has a viewer to download, kind of like SL.

Claudia13 Rossini: (ok, so i took a few years off….but i think my profile r/l pic looks fairly close)

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I find Safari painfully slow so I use Firefox or Chrome anyhow

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Blue Mars was PC only back when, so no Iggy. Did it change to work on other OSes?

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): We haven’t had a chance to talk about why he’s thinking about using Blue Mars instead of SL. But he did sit in on one class I taught, during those days when most of the students took forever to get out of “cloud” appearance – and I think that discouraged him for SL.

David Stack (richmedia): Ooops. Spoke too soon. Looks like Safari just needs WebGL turned on.

Birdie Newcomb: Ah, it’s for Mac 10.6 and above — I’m out.

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): They do have a Mac viewer now. I haven’t tried it yet.

Claudia13 Rossini: oh rats Griz, and that’s just an SL rare bump

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): SL has been rather speedy for me recently, though I’ve not tried to drive a vehicle lately

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Oh I know, I know, but when that’s someone’s introduction to SL, it’s unconvincing to say, “It isn’t usually like this!”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Marketplace has worked well too. I see a few LL improvements or am an optimist, one

Claudia13 Rossini: i think they’ve done some work on the physics in the last several months Iggy

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Thanks, Claudia. I’ll get out the Mini and try a SL road trip again

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Can someone clarify the physics concerns for me? I’ve been hearing that mentioned a lot lately, but I don’t understand what the problem is.

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): For me, it’s the sim crossings that make driving or sailing hard

Claudia13 Rossini: oh, i’ve a couple of great notecards on it Grizzy, if you’d like them

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): John Lester (Pathfinder) explained it this way: each sim has privileges set by group

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Yes, please drop ‘em on me

Shailey Garfield: Claudia, could I also have them? Thanks.

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): when you cross a border, the new sim has to move your inventory and check your privs by group

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): in games this does not happen

Claudia13 Rossini: just sec Shailey

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): so you get crashes, lag, movement randomly to a sim edge. What am I leaving out?

Claudia13 Rossini: it has to ‘guess’ what you’re going to do as you cross the sim border

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): lag called “rubber banding” happens in most multi-player games, too

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Why would moving inventory etc. not happen in games?

Claudia13 Rossini: (no clue on that one)

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I’m not sure, Grizzla. I think the game words use Server-side rendering for you and your stuff

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): http://openmymind.net/2012/5/30/Client-Side-vs-Server-Side-Rendering/

Shailey Garfield: why is it called ‘rubber banding’, Iggy?

Claudia13 Rossini: that would make sense Iggy

Claudia13 Rossini: lol, i bet that’s to do with a visual effect you’ve seen

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): we use client-side rendering with SL, and it’s slower

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): when you walk and snap back to an earlier spot, Shailey, that is rubber banding

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): AH. Yes.

Claudia13 Rossini: where your av keeps walking….then pops back to where you really thought you were

Shailey Garfield: Thanks a lot, Iggy for clear explanations

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): good news from Linden Lab too:

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Tools-and-Technology/New-Open-Source-Project-to-Improve-Graphics-Rendering/ba-p/1637559

Shailey Garfield: Yes, I have encountered this, Claudia

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): they will roll out server side rendering here to fight lag

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Wow

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): but I think it will mostly make the graphics work better. I don’t think it will affect sim crossings in my ’67 GTO :(

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Aw

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): What the new graphics mean for builders like Claudia I also don’t know at all

Claudia13 Rossini: now the graphics stuff i’m not clear on, i’m rarely laggy , but that may just be that i don’t get ‘out’ much

Shailey Garfield: :-) Claudia

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): the only other thing I’ve heard about physics is that in some of the weapons systems, things like arrows don’t fly realistically

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): but that’s a programming issue, not an SL issue

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): you can dodge SL bullets sometimes :)

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): like Neo in the Matrix

Claudia13 Rossini: snorts, i build with mostly the old prims and a few sculpties, so ‘new graphics’ i don’t care about

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): snorts – which is why Claudia can’t appreciate the awesomeness of my sweater

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I think you’d use them in this system, Claudia. You’d find that the lighting would be better for you perhaps

Claudia13 Rossini: lol, but i appreciate your internal awesomeness Griz

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): because you build well already. It’s the crappy builds that would look more awful

Claudia13 Rossini: LOL@crappy builds

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): The Mainland if now full of them, and nearly 45% of the Mainland belongs now to Linden Lab

Claudia13 Rossini: actually, the lighting is why i stay on my old viewer….i found awful errors with new viewer lighting…but if it looks good in my old viewer, it looks good in the new ones

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): sorry–just over 46%

Claudia13 Rossini: you mean 46% mainland builds are crappy?

Birdie Newcomb: Does that mean it’s not rented out, Iggy?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): More like 90% :)

Shailey Garfield: Iggy, is there a prediction when Cloud Party will become a competitor to SL?

Claudia13 Rossini: sorry, more like 99%, but we know how snobby i am about that stuff

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Birdie, it means (quoting) “46.5% of Mainland owned directly by Linden Accounts (Contiguous Mainland is 6729 regions including Linden Home regions)”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I get this from http://gridsurvey.com/

gridsize

Birdie Newcomb: I’d guess, if it’s browser based, maybe next week

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Shailey, no idea about that. I only go on reports from New World Notes, which has been promoting and reporting on Cloud Party.

Birdie Newcomb: I’m not clear what they’re talking about. What sims are not owned by LL?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Birdie, good point! I think Tyche means “landowner of note is LL”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): we are all renters, after all

Birdie Newcomb: Which essentially means empty land, doesn’t it?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): LL gets no tier on the 46.5%. Put it that way

Claudia13 Rossini: technically LL ‘owns’ every sim, but some of us pay tier to rent the server space

Shailey Garfield: The name Cloud Party is not so great for use in educational circles and Cloud has many meanings (Icloud, Cloud computing, blue clouds in the sky :-)).

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I do not know how much of the 46.5% are Linden Homes. Those regions are counted as “Linden Owned”

Claudia13 Rossini: 46%….you got some older figure, is that an increase in LL ‘ownership’?

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): So, for example, BGSU sims are not “mainland” – “LL-owned” – have I got that right?

Claudia13 Rossini: yes Grizzy

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @Claudia, yes. Over the last year, the mainland has been gradually emptying

Claudia13 Rossini: that kind of figures

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): and Tyche’s data show now “10.6% to 11.6% of Mainland by area is abandoned parcels”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): that is up about 2% from last year

Birdie Newcomb: Uh oh, a black hole developing

Claudia13 Rossini: nods, typical in any recession

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): nods at Claudia

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): “Not a sign of alarm there. the loss of private regions is more a problem for LL’s revenue”

Claudia13 Rossini: we’ve all seen the real estate boom and bust here

Birdie Newcomb: That is their revenue base.

Birdie Newcomb: And yet they’re raising the rates. Go figure

Claudia13 Rossini: and ignoring the sim owners needs

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Birdie, raising when?

Birdie Newcomb: the whole educational field.

Birdie Newcomb: I don’t know bout the rest

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): yes, but that was in 2010

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I have not heard how many edu sims remain in SL

Claudia13 Rossini: there is no sim tier increase that i know of

Birdie Newcomb: I dropped mine about then

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I’d go my annual survey again but 1) Visu stopped its surveys for free and 2) I’m not doing research on virtual worlds now

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Nobody else does free surveys?

Claudia13 Rossini: yet we all seem to return here, because despite all the problems, SL is still the best

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): others do, Grizzla, and I could do a Google one

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): What Claudia said

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): It is still the place to meet and it works well for that

Claudia13 Rossini: well, it’s where the people are still

Shailey Garfield: Yes, I agree, Claudia

Birdie Newcomb: It’s like the motherland, though many of us emigrate elsewhere

Claudia13 Rossini: much as we’d all like to throttle LL

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I was just reading NWN about Cloud Party’s “advantages for content creators.” One person noted, essentially “true but no on is there yet”

Birdie Newcomb: @Claudia. True. Are we abandoning LL or is LL abandoning us?

Claudia13 Rossini: i’m sorry, but what advantages Iggy?

David Stack (richmedia): I think economists call this avoiding the “switching costs”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @Claudia, take a look at the summary at: http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2012/12/cloud-party-versus-second-life.html

Claudia13 Rossini: nods to Rich, but it’s also emotionally ‘home’

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Remember, some of this is fondness for Cory Ondrejka. He was always the Woz to Philip Rosedale’s Jobs, and Cory got run out by LL

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Well, and there will be content issues with Cloud Party like there have been with SL. The first day I logged into CP, someone had imported a gigantic… anatomical feature… at least 5 stories high

Claudia13 Rossini: LOL

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): LOL Grizzla. Griefers have one-track minds.

Claudia13 Rossini: not the griefers i’ve been involved with lately, these guys as seriously bad

Claudia13 Rossini: as = are

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): yes, and we have these well made beggar bots

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): it’s more than bored teens to be sure

Claudia13 Rossini: it’s the sim crashers i’m worried about

Birdie Newcomb: now that’s ambitious

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): I have heard about beggar bots but haven’t encountered any. But I’m seeing more and more of the green mouse bots and similar ones

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): you mean with a scripted attack to crash the sim?

Claudia13 Rossini: and very easy to do Birdie….they sell sim crashers on MP

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): They do??? 8-0

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): LOL Claudia…shows how much of an eye LL has on that particular ball

Claudia13 Rossini: yup, it’s a graphics attach, from what i understand Iggy

Claudia13 Rossini: Yes, just do a search on sim crashers

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Used to do that with virtual H-bombs in SL..giant particle attacks

Claudia13 Rossini: plus the charming extortion threat of 100,000L from the griefers to stop

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): So we have about 15 minutes left today

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): any New Year’s predictions?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): other than “Claudia kills a bunch of Russian griefers?”

Birdie Newcomb: LL will continue to ignore us

Claudia13 Rossini: i predict SL will continue to be a pain in the derrier but that we will all soldier on

Claudia13 Rossini: i will be releasing the kraken soon

David Stack (richmedia): We’ll still be here in a year wondering what the next viable VW will be?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I predict continued loss of about 1000 sims per 3 months, but LL will still be profitable in a year and SL will continue

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): agrees with David

David Stack (richmedia): @grizzla, I was hoping someone would disagree!

hobbs Constantine: I predict we’ll meet new friends and hug old friends at the continuing VWER

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): But in the meantime we’ll still come here for the same reasons we have been coming

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): hugs Hobbs

Shailey Garfield: in education, people’s interest will move towards applications dedicated to specific learning activities in Unity 3D or similar platforms. There will less demand for VWs per se as there has been so much uncertainty lately.

Claudia13 Rossini: yup, i figure about 5 years before we have good competition for SL

hobbs Constantine: awww Grizz, nice sweater

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I do predict that Creatorverse and Patterns will sink faster than the Repulse and Prince of Wales did in 1941

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): LOL

Claudia13 Rossini: LOL

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I hear nothing about either of them

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): No adverts, no marketing at all

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Well, they’ve never really marketed SL either

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): but SL had buzz for a while. How do you get buzz for a product today without the media picking it up?

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Right.

Claudia13 Rossini: lord, they will only talk about SL being full of sex, screw the media

Birdie Newcomb: SL was new, and open-ended — which might have been the problem.

Shailey Garfield: The realisation or understanding about the tole of 3D simulations in education and being complementary to 2D learning spaces will continue to grow.

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): I just find it interesting that the 2012 Gartner Hype Cycle graph shows VWs beginning to come out of the trough of disillusionment

hobbs Constantine: nice one Shailey

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Or the slough of despond, or whatever

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): True, Grizzla. But VW as concept, not SL

Shailey Garfield: That will be great, Griz.

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Oh yes, I did say VWs, not SL.

David Stack (richmedia): Also saw Gartner, but we don’t subscribe to that area of research so don’t know the thinking behind it.

Claudia13 Rossini: Iggy, you got any power/influence to have ‘cloud party’ at least change their name to something sensible?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): I’m trying to think of any technology that did not have a period of setbacks

Claudia13 Rossini: the wheel?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @Claudia, I could send Cory a bottle of good Scotch

Birdie Newcomb: Pony Express

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): so…no

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): I think the existence of the “Hype Cycle” concept indicates technology (virtually) always has setbacks

Claudia13 Rossini: lol, pony express only lasted a few months if i remember correctly

Birdie Newcomb: Or periods of being misunderstood.

Shailey Garfield: not a particular technology, Iggy, but social media has seen a rapid uptake amongst all ages

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Grizzla, even auto ownership did not take off until the road system improved

Claudia13 Rossini: and Ford made owning a car affordable

David Stack (richmedia): The auto companies shut down the livery stables and turned them into gas stations.

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @Shailey, true, But consider the slump for pioneers like MySpace and Friendster

David Stack (richmedia): Not sure what the corresponding metaphor for VWs would be.

Birdie Newcomb: social media is finding a use for technology that had been around for years

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): It took Facebook to get grandma to post her photos

hobbs Constantine: “Gee, the traffic is terrific , oh there’s no place like home for the holidays”

Claudia13 Rossini: though i do enjoy that one of Zimmerman’s family just posted a photo as non private

Birdie Newcomb: Hm, traffic used to be something to avoid, now… we pay to get more andmore and more

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): sure there are parallels to what David mentions about cars. Facebook has cornered the social networking market

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): by traffic and that appeals to advertisers

Claudia13 Rossini: for now Iggy, companies come and go

hobbs Constantine: Irony, a gift best served by Facebook directly to the Zimmermans

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): agreed, Claudia. I think SL will fade slowly too, and another world or words will replace it in a few years, but not in 2013

Claudia13 Rossini: lol, yup Hobbs!

David Stack (richmedia): Maybe the barrier to entry for the social network aspects of VWs is just too high for most people.

Birdie Newcomb: Who is Zimmerman, by the way?

Claudia13 Rossini: nods to Iggy….few things really last

Claudia13 Rossini: Zuckerman? i can never remember his name

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): @David, that’s the issue for most teachers I’ve shown VWs. They say “I cannot keep up with the apps I use now”

hobbs Constantine: lol

Claudia13 Rossini: the partial creator of FB

Birdie Newcomb: Oh, Zuckerberg?

Shailey Garfield: I have to go. Thanks for an interesting conversation. Best wishes for 2013. Bye

hobbs Constantine: Zuggerman

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Hindenberg

Birdie Newcomb: Zimmerman — I think that’s BobDdylan’s name

hobbs Constantine: Zip Zug

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Zinfandel

hobbs Constantine: Bye Shailey

Claudia13 Rossini: laughs

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Bob Dylan was asked to leave his grandchild’s school you know

hobbs Constantine: Zipadee Do. Da.

David Stack (richmedia): Need to expand a successful social network into a VW.

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): Why on earth…?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): he was here to perform and frightened the kids

Birdie Newcomb: that would be claustrophobic

Claudia13 Rossini: lol

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): LOL

hobbs Constantine: lol

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Poor Bob

hobbs Constantine: He was looking for the Cloud Party

Grizzla (grizzla.pixelmaid): scratches head, trying to figure out how he would frighten kids

David Stack (richmedia): lol

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): If you have not seen his Christmas video, you should

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): hold on

Claudia13 Rossini: Griz, Santa frightens kids

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8qE6WQmNus

hobbs Constantine: Any words of advice as we head over to…Calendonia, is it?

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): “It Must Be Santa!”

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): No advice, but just keep coming to VWER!

Birdie Newcomb: ta-ta

Claudia13 Rossini: or we will sic Iggy on you

hobbs Constantine: yikes!

Iggy (ignatius.onomatopoeia): Okies all. Off goes bad Santa. See you all next week! Thank you for being here today!

Claudia13 Rossini: nods to Hobbs, scary thought huh

David Stack (richmedia): Bye now.
